Neighborhood

Across the Willamette River from downtown, this area blends industrial Portland with new restaurants, microbreweries and riverside recreation. Criss-crossed with train tracks and lined with old industrial factories, some of Portland’s favorite restaurants, boutiques and events call the Central Eastside home. Read on for our recommended things to do and see in Portland’s Central Eastside.

Good to know

Recently remodeled and tastefully furnished in true Portland fashion, this home boasts a unique charm, with many of the original features and woodwork from its over-a-century-year-old building still intact. This is a beautiful cared for three bedroom home. There are two queen size beds in the first room, a bunk bed with two queen (yes, queen!) mattresses in another bedroom, and then one queen mattress in the last bedroom. With a total of five queen beds, you can comfortably sleep 10 guests! The living room is cozy and relaxed, with new windows streaming plenty of natural light and a comfy white sofa to kick back on. Those rainy days are perfect for cuddling up and watching movies on the 55" LED flat-screen TV. While I don't have cable, you'll have access to Netflix and blazing fast WiFi for streaming. If you feel like eating in, there's a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and a big farmhouse-style table in the spacious dining room to easily host your crew - not to mention a Market of Choice (the PNW's twist on Whole Foods) a couple blocks away! After spending the day walking, shopping, and eating, you'll love coming home to the super comfy queen-size beds, blazing fast internet, fully functioning kitchen and an overall homey space.

Other Details to Note

It should be noted that we are located in Central Portland. While this is ideal for walkability to restaurants, other attractions, and proximity to downtown, it also means we have rehabilitation centers nearby. Our guests have never had a single issue with these residents, but it is important to recognize this beforehand for guests that may be caught off guard.
